I reached a stepping stone last night-a quarter of the way through my Aromatic Scholars course! It sure has been a much slower go at it for me with this program as compared to the Foundations of Aromatherapy course. The material is so in depth and thorough, I have really been taking my time to absorb the information.
At this point I have finished up studying the botanical families and a few highlighted essential oils for each. It was truly fascinating to get familiarized with the many oils covered in the course, as well as the different species of chamomile, lavender, eucalyptus and chemotypes of rosemary and thyme. Fascinating!
I have just now begun studying Aromatics and the Skin. So far I have dug into the anatomy and physiology of the skin, not one of my stronger suits I have to admit. Again, so much information to digest, I have really taken my time on this lesson reviewing the material, watching videos, and observing my own skin’s health and appearance the past few weeks. It’s an eye opener!
I look forward to getting further in this module and maybe find some answers and remedies for my greatest skin concerns!
